What actually differs between the four tiers?

No features are cut per tier. Weekly, monthly, yearly and lifetime all ship the full desktop core tool. What differs is duration, bound device count (1 / 3 / 3 / 5) and cloud quota (20 / 100 / 250 / 500 GB).

How do I pay? Can I check out on the website?

Today you sign in to the desktop client and scan an Alipay or WeChat QR code under “Renew membership”. This site shows prices and points you to the download — there is no web checkout.

Can I register an account on the website?

The website only sends the verification code to your inbox. You enter the code inside the desktop client, which creates the account and binds the device. The reason is that the free weekly membership allows one device only: if you finished verification in a browser, the browser would take that device slot and your first client sign-in would have to evict it.

How does macOS differ from Windows?

Windows is the full build, including U3 firmware upgrade and MiPi (subject to licence). macOS 13+ Apple Silicon supports GPT read/write over USB readers plus account, cloud and store; U3 firmware upgrade and MiPi remain Windows-only.

Are my cloud files safe? Can I skip uploading?

The cloud vault is private storage for the signed-in account, used to sync working files — it is not a public share. You can stay signed out, leave sync off and work purely from local folders. For real-disk work, the local backup is what counts.

Is a store license key the same as membership?

No. A store key only unlocks that web app SKU. Desktop partition read/write runs on membership or a desktop license key. The two are billed separately.

Are service plans the same as membership?

No. Membership is software entitlement billed weekly, monthly, yearly or lifetime. A service plan is a documentation package (plus a technical group on the Pro tier) bundled with a period of software entitlement; it is a service product that our team activates after a consultation.

Can writing damage the disk? Do you guarantee the drone gets fixed?

We do not guarantee that any specific machine gets fixed, nor that it passes inspection. Writing carries risk. Back up first, dry-run when it matters, and remember that aborting does not roll back data already written.

Partition jobs

Scan the physical disk and analyse the GPT layout. Partition export is read-only; backup-then-write always backs up first; you can also restore from a backup.

The cloud vault is private object storage per account (bucket uavrc-user-space) used to sync device profiles and files after sign-in. It is not a public drive and does not replace local backups.

After a clean install the “Installed” list is empty. Opening app management silently syncs the store manifest; nothing touches your machine until you press Install. Apps run in an embedded WebView.
